How Brinks Heating & Air Got Started
I’d always done residential side jobs alongside my commercial career. When COVID hit in 2020, the commercial refrigeration work disappeared almost overnight. Restaurants shut down. I was furloughed, and eventually laid off — along with a lot of people who’d done nothing wrong except work in the wrong industry at the wrong time.
My phone kept ringing. Homeowners needed furnace repairs, AC work, tune-ups. I stayed busy. And somewhere in those months, the math started to make sense. In August 2020, in the middle of a pandemic and without a safety net, I launched Brinks Heating & Air.
Five years later, it’s become one of the most trusted HVAC operations in the western Twin Cities suburbs — one honest job at a time.
