When Should You Schedule Your Furnace Tune-Up?

September & October
Early fall is the ideal window. Your furnace has been sitting idle all summer, temperatures are still mild enough that you’re not dependent on heat yet, and there’s time to address any issues we find before winter arrives.
Don’t Wait Until Winter
Once heating season hits, scheduling gets harder and the consequences of a furnace problem get more serious. A tune-up in November or December is still better than no tune-up — but September and October give you the most flexibility and peace of mind.
What to Expect During Your Tune-Up
Schedule at Your Convenience — Call or request service online and we’ll get you on the schedule at a time that works for you. I recommend booking in September or early October to beat the fall rush.
Full 13-Point Inspection — I will work through the complete checklist — inspecting, cleaning, testing, and adjusting your system from top to bottom. Most tune-ups take approximately one hour.
